Why I love England #4.    welcoming

England welcomes all sorts of people,  even bus enthusiasts, as long as they behave like responsible citizens by following health and safety instructions and reporting suspicious unattended packages to the appropriate security authorities.

    In Canterbury enthusiasts can’t gather in groups of 2 or more lest the locals become alarmed by thier paraphanelia such as binoculars (train spotters) or large albums, or in my case a Hat (or 3)

    Grief. So you’re specifically permitted to watch buses, otherwise it would be forbidden. I’m sure that if you go to the nearest Danish embassy and say the word “asylum”, you’ll be welcomed. This is about as bad as it gets, methinks…

    I see that you are based in England.
    I would just like to let you know that there is an amphibius bus in the Stagecoach depot in Glasgow.
    It is meant to be going out on trial on the 7/2/10 at 8am.
    It is meant to be crossing the River Clyde at Yoker to Braehead
