    Interesting. For 5 years I was the opposite, SCSI hardware started working when I walked into the lab. I was actually prohibited from one workbench by an otherwise hard-headed engineer on the grounds that I was the male version of Glinda the Good Witch. (not sure what to make of that one from a machismo standpoint!)

    Anyway, it’s suggestive that humans can influence electrons just by their aura…!

    One of my ex-colleagues was a serious wierdness magnet. I used to use her as the testbed for any new system – if it worked most of the time and gave coherent messages when it didn’t then the system was fit for public use.
