processes hang, are hung, then killed
and data is executed
I wonder whether anything is slaughtered, murdered, guillotined, or assassinated by abbatoir processes. Maybe things are slowly drawn, quartered and impaled.

Actually, the message says it was ‘closed’ not ‘killed’.

Ahhhh yes, so funny how IT/Software descriptors, thought up by logical left brain thinkers, are almost poetic in the right brain thinkers mind. I like this posting Wendy!

Raymond, Consider taking a trip to nit-pickers corner.
The screenshot illustrates one word that is indirectly refered to in the post – execution – that I have chosen to consider vicious. Remember this blog uses both fiction and poetic licence ….
Bx – thanks

And then you dump Windows for Apple and the world is lovely again. Honest.

Apple is much worse.
I once watched an intelligent, persistent, technologically able girl spend nerly 2 hours trying to work out how to attach a digital photograph to an email.
Apple – my experience is yucky hardware, virtually no choice, really bad usability, outrageous profit margins, don’t work with a great range of partner companies to host fabulous software. Blugrghghghgghgh.

Miss S,
The wendy house quality control team were recruited and gained infamy for their liberal approach to spelling, punctuation and grammar. They are none-the-less a quality control team.
During this last week there has been much controversy with substantial re-write suggestions that have included phrases like ‘twaddle’ and ‘nonsense’ as well as insults to the content and quality of my writing.
Essentially, nothing reached the quality bar and the Jury don’t want to let standards slip. I’ve applied for permission to retrospectively fill these days with posts but the Jury is not in favour of this approach despite the fictional nature of this blog’s content.
The blog management team are considering some rationalisations, they’ve already removed some punctuation and words from the blog title (notable ‘The’ and ‘::’) and downsized some capital letters into lower-case. The atmosphere in the wendy house is a little fraught at the moment.
fingers crossed all will turn out well
w.x.

I like Bux’s comment and most of Wendy’s posts, even when I don’t understand Wendy’s posts.
