A friend [female] told me something similar… and I know that before going through the menopause she really did suffer – she had to have industrial strength painkillers from the doctor [she had complications].
Anyhow, it’s all very worrying.

I didn’t dare go first.
A friend had a very early menopause. Not technically complicated, but very early. Between crying, sleeping, aching and feeling phenomenally shitty all round she didn’t have a lot of fun with it.
