I wood

tags: , ,

Matrix watches the drive as Simon pulls-up.

 is all that for me?

Yes, where do you want it dropped?

Oh, thank you!  I dont have a wheelbarrow, here by the shed its going in would be good

It wont fit in that shed

Stacking the rest out doors should be ok?

yeah

I didnt tell him about the wasps, he didn’t notice.

While unloading Simon chatted to my neighbours.  He visited at least one of them before leaving.  Simon is a bit of a charmer.   Who wood have guessed that would delivery and stacking could be this much fun?

2 bits of lovely banter on “I wood”

Is that my wood guy? I didn’t get to meet him – maybe I’ll try to be home next time he brings a cord.

Anxious to hear how the wood does in your stove – I think it is fab and has the most wonderful smell.

Yes! you recommended him. He told me fabulousl stories about his job in the high snow falls earlier this year, and why he likes people buying wood in the summer (like me).
He was a really nice fellow. The wood isn’t seasoned so I’m not expecting it to be any better than the cheaper stuff from Nettlebed. But I’ll let you know how it goes in the fall when I start using it
