emergency calligraphy

While I’m contemplating learning how to write properly with my new ink pen, I realise that it actually takes a lot of practice and dedication to build that kind of physical skill. Darn. You have to practice and get it wrong and try again and again and again, gradually getting better each time.

Apparantly, writing properly is called calligraphy. Fancy that! I do fancy that! But I suspect I’ll never get around to dedicated practice and improvement. There are possible short-cuts for people who want to have hand crafted beautiful writing without lots of practice. Heres’ one way – Scarlet Blue’s Calligraphy!

For all my emergency calligraphy needs I’ll be calling on Scarlet Blue. Is this shameless promotion of a friends business? Yes of course it is! Telling the world about my talented friends is FUN! I’m hoping some talent will rub-off onto me with minimal practice, maybe not…Hahahahaaa!

Is Anakin Skywalker suffering from borderline personality disorder?

The British Psychology Society Research Digest includes many thought provoking and entertaining articles from all over the world.  Sometimes it is difficult to work out if the articles are serious, tongue-in-cheek, or some-other-body-part connecting with some-other-body-part that should ultimately be censored (smirk).

For example, in  a recent edition a French researcher wrote a thesis diagnosing Darth Vader with a mental disorder - Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).  Evidently this could explain why the film is popular with teenagers – a group where BPD is more prevalent than the rest of society.  Surrupticiously implying that people with BPD will tend to like the film. 

I’d like to make it thoroughly clear that despite any evidence to the contrary, I’ve always found the Star Wars films rather unengaging.  Really, no, it’s true…. Mwa hahahahaha HA!

wendy:   it’s started snowing

work colleague: I didn’t think you were the nervous type, to leave so early.

Wendy: I’m not nervous,   I’m sensible.   Call me sensible wendy.   I’ll call you when I get home safely.

Ha hahahahahaaaaaaa   how sensible am I?

bus or tardis?

Waiting for a local bus,   for local people, locally, my other brother skipped up to me with a big smile and HELLLOOOOOO Wendy HaHaHa.   I jumped up to hug him (he’s 6 ft 4).

skippy:   Here’s the bus,   three busses at once,   OooooOOOOoo HaHaha

I walked toward the first double decker

skippy:   WRONG!     we want the single decker, Hahahahaha

Wendy:   Oh (signifying disappointment at not getting the double decker)

Skippy is on the bus and has placed himself in the centre of the back row of 5 seats by the time I’ve joined the line and paid for a ticket.   I look down the bus too see him at the end of the isle,   he shows me all of his teeth and claps his hands,   then raises one hand and waves it at me, as if I might be leaving, while laughing.     I show him my recently cleaned teeth and run down the bus to take a seat next to him.   We chat loudly  during the journey.   I laugh everytime Skippy talks because his enthusiasm and volume is  brillliant.   He is clearly happy to be with his little sister and I with him.

Skippy is looking forward to the Easter special Dr. Who  episode,   he tells me about it.   I posit that maybe this bus is a TARDIS and one of the passengers is a time lord disguised as a local,   the conversation deteriorates from here on.  

Hoorah!
